![]() ![]() The last time Adobe offered this suite of products was with Adobe Captivate 6. The eLearning Suite included the following applications: In fact, this is how I purchased my first personal copy of Adobe Captivate. There was a time when Adobe offered a product called the Adobe eLearning Suite. Everything I say in this blog post is just my thoughts and opinion. When it comes right down to it, I’m just a user like all of you. My site many free Authoring and RoboHelp resources that may be of help.Adobe has invited me to participate in things like conferences and training, but I think it’s important to say that I do not know Adobe’s plans for the marketing or selling of Adobe Captivate. you found some other way of checking that or accessing the files on another machine via the web? However, it does seem that CCDA is required if you want to view what files Adobe think you have in the cloud store by accessing them from the burger menu. ![]() That does not show in Your Files in the second image above and I don't get why that is. That opens a browser window showing what is stored in the cloud and that does show the file I put in the local sync folder. However, a test file that I put in Creative Cloud Files did not show up as being stored in the cloud within CCDA.įor that it appears you have to use the burger menu in the app where there is an option File > Go to Creative Cloud Web In CCDA there is a link that open that folder. On my system right clicking that folder shows that it is on my hard disk. We poke around using our general experience of the product in the hope of helping.įor Windows users who are not familiar with the Mac OS, a finder window is the same as opening Explorer.Īt first I could not see how the Creative Cloud Files has shown is accessing the 2gb storage. Please bear in mind those of us who support the forum are often trying to resolve issues we haven't encountered ourselves. Thank you for posting the solution you found. Click the folder named Creative Cloud Files.(The directory name might be your given name, for example "Harpreet" it might be your given name and the first initial of your family name, for example "kiml.") Go to your home directory, which has the same name as your user folder. If you don't like the shortcut and/or the fact that it has a document icon, you can get where you need to this way: With this directory, you can easily "drag and drop" whatever files you need from within the Finder. IMPORTANT: The contents of this directory are not the same as the CCDA's Files tab. In right pane, you will see the content of the special cloud storage directory. In the left pane, shown under the Favorites heading, there will be a new shortcut named Creative Cloud Files.Ĭonfusingly, the icon for this shortcut will be a document icon, even though you will be using it as a folder. The solution is incredibly simple once you know where to look, but I was unsuccessful in finding any instructions or support or forum answers that detailed the solution, so I share it here for the benefit of others: Even if installing RoboHelp did "break" the Files tab on CCDA. And since I already had several Adobe products installed on my Mac long before I purchased RoboHelp for the Mac, the presence and good operation of CCDA was already established. ![]() You will none of you-with one possible exception-be surprised to learn that the solution has nothing to do with Creative Cloud desktop application (CCDA), except its presence.
